Adriatic Ionian Maritime Spatial Planning

ADRIPLAN is the project selected for funding in December 2013 under the call of DG-MARE ( MARE/2012/25 ) on the theme of Maritime Spatial Planning in the Mediterranean and / or in the Black Sea.
The project  is coordinated by CNR-ISMAR and will carry a consortium of 17 technical and institutional partners .
The framework is the implementation of the Integrated Maritime Policy, based on the ecosystem approach and the Directive 2008/56/EC on the strategy for the marine environment, through a maritime spatial planning that takes into account the integrated management of coastal zones.
The funding required for the project is 1,250,000 euros, of which 1,000,000 directly funded by the European Union, and the expected project duration is 18 months .
