8° GEBCO Science Day
From October 7th to 11th meetings and Science Day (October, 8th), at CNR-ISMAR, Venice, Italy.

In 2013 the meetings of Joint IHO-IOC Guiding Committee for GEBCO, the Technical Sub-Committee on Ocean Mapping (TSCOM), the Subcommittee on Regional Undersea Mapping (SCRUM) and Science Day will be held during the week 7th to 11th October at the Istituto di Scienze Marine Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Arsenale Tesa 102, Castello, Venice, Italy. GEBCO's work is directed by a Guiding Committee and supported by sub-committees on digital bathymetry; regional mapping and undersea feature names. The Eighth GEBCO Science Day will be held on 8th October 2013 and consists of oral presentations and poster displays. Attendance, this year, is upon invitation. Found the programme at:

All the colleagues from ISMAR who wish to attend the Science Day, have to register with local hosts: m.rovere@ismar.cnr.it and f.foglini@ismar.cnr.it. This year attendance is restricted due to the room capacity and catering functions, and availability is limited.
