From 21 to 23 September 2010 at the Exhibition Centre ' (Ferrara ) was organized for the first time within RemTech Expo 2010 (the Fourth Exhibition on Remediation of contaminated sites and territory regeneration ) the 1st exhibition on Coast Protection Management.
Coast Expo 2010 was promoted by the Emilia-Romagna - Geological, Seismic and Soil Survey - and has the patronage of the University of Ferrara, Ferrara Research Consortium, the Second University of Naples, Department of Geosciences, University of Trieste, ISMAR CNR Institute of Marine Sciences of CoNISMa - National Interuniversity Consortium for Marine Sciences, SiGe - Italian Society of Environmental Geology, Geology of the Order of the Emilia-Romagna.
Coast and Expo 2010 'was a moment of dialogue, reflection and debate among ministries, institutions, universities, research centers and enterprises, on the state of the art, developments and criticism of the of the coast management which represents a heritage unique in terms of both economic and social environment.
Sectors of the exhibition and conferences, coordinated by the Scientific Committee, have dealt with issues of coastal risk management, reuse of dredged materials, research and monitoring for the management of the coast.
