ISMAR-CNR Calibration laboratory

Responsible: Mireno Borghini e-mail

The Calibration laboratory provides support to seagoing scientists for make high-quality measures of chemical-physical variables of the marine environment. The goal is to constantly guarantee the recognized international standards of excellence in oceanographic filed.

The laboratory activities include testing, calibration and control of oceanographic instrumentation - typically CTD probes (Conductivity and Temperature sensors) and oxygen sensors.

The calibration lab is located in the Institute of Marine Sciences - National Research Council of La Spezia and is operated and maintained by Mireno Borghini. For all laboratory use requests, contact M. Borghini at +39 0187 1788913 or  e-mail him.
