  • “Acqua Alta” oceanographic research platform
    • The “Acqua Alta” oceanographic research platform is the site for testing WASS and acquiring space-time wave fields. At present, WASS consist of a pair of 5 megapixel digital cameras (with 2456 columns by 2048 rows array of 3.45-mm square active elements) and mounting 5-mm  distortion-less lenses, placed 2.5 m apart and 12.5 m above the mean sea level. FOTO
  • R/V “Urania” (Adriatic Sea)
    • During field campaigns DECALOGO13 (southern Adriatic Sea, April 2013) and CARPET14 (northern Adriatic Sea, Jan.-Feb. 2014) R/V “Urania” was equipped with a WASS for measuring sea waves during hydrological sampling.    FOTO
  • R/V “San Marco” (Garda Lake)
    • During field campaigns on the Garda Lake R/V “San Marco” was equipped with a WASS for measuring sea waves during hydrological sampling.    FOTO
  • Wind Wave Tank (University of Tel-Aviv)
    • First application of WASS principles in a wave tank was performed during the project “A Novel Stereo Image Method For Determination Of Statistics, Spectra And Dissipation Rates Of Ocean Waves”, supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign affair, within the Scientific, Industrial and Technological Cooperation between Italy and Israel. FOTO
