Aliani Stefano
Laurea in Marine Biology (1990), researcher at ISMAR La Spezia since 2001. He carries out researches on the interplay of physical and biological forcings and on the control they exert in the functioning of the ecosystems, especially under extreme conditions as polluted areas, shallow water anoxic brines and the deep sea. He has been member of the Steering Commitee of EC project, of EC evaluation panels, coPI of ESF EUROCORE project BIOFUN, Member of the Committee of CNR POLARNET, PI in Arctic and Antarctic projects on Oceanography. He has been visiting scientist at the University of Bangor (UK) and UCSD S. Diego USA.
