Barbariol Francesco
M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering (2008) and Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental
Engineering Sciences (2014), from the University of Padua (Italy). Since 2014,
post-doc at Institute of Marine Sciences (CNR) in Venice, working in the field of
physical oceanography, with a particular focus on sea surface gravity waves
observation and modeling. He is now mainly working on extreme waves prediction
(freak waves, space-time wave extremes, etc), combining numerical modeling
(WAVEWATCH III, SWAN) and space-time measurements (stereo, WASS).
