Braga Federica

Federica Braga has carried out researches on studies of coastal morphology and evolution through the analysis of cartographic maps and satellite and airborne images.
She has participated to field campaigns, using optical instrumentations, for the characterization of terrestrial environment, for the identification of bottom substrate and submerged vegetations, for the assessment of apparent and inherent optical parameters of water column in lake, coastal and transitional areas (Lagoon of Venice 2002-2005, Lake of Garda 2002-2004, Strait of Messina 2004, Sacca of Goro 2005-2007, Gulf of Manfredonia 2009, Montenegro coasts 2009).
She contributed to the management and scientific coordination of many national and international projects and research activities.
Now she is carrying out researches on processing and analysis of multi-hyperspectral data (remotely and field data), in order to know coastal processes and monitor water quality of coastal and transitional areas, also for supporting environmental emergencies.

She is responsible of WP “Stato dell’Arte” e “Specifiche algoritmiche dei prodotti EO” in the preliminary project CIRCE – Controllo Integrato del Rischio CostiEro Telespazio-ASI (2009).
She is involved in HYPAD.COM project (LARA IIA-CNR) financed by Italian Ministry of Environment and Sea.
