Laurea in Chemistry, 1997. Researcher.
1998 – 2010, fellowships in chemical oceanography (CNR-ITT) and biogeochemistry (CNR-ISMAR), Trieste. She has done research work mainly on nitrogen cycle in coastal and open sea environments in the framework of European and national projects. She used nitrogen isotopes (15N) to trace nitrogen sources, and to determine nitrogen assimilation and N2 fixation rates. Currently her research is focused on biogeochemistry of carbonate system, air-sea CO2 fluxes in relation to ocean acidification issues. She is author of 10 ISI peer-reviewed papers.
