University Degree in Biology in 1996 at University of Padua, Italy Research scientist at the National Research Council since 2000, where initially has done research works in coastal oceanography, with particular regard to particle flux studies. Currently his research interests are on pollution by POPs (persistent organic pollutants) in sediment, water and organism, in transitional environment and coastal zone. Assessment of the quality of the transitional environment through the study of sentinel organisms. Methodologies for assessing and monitoring water and sediment quality.
