Degree in Geology (1993), University of Padua, Italy. Research scientist at the Institute of Marine Sciences (CNR) in Venice. Her research interests are focused on biogeochemical cycles both in coastal and deep marine environments, and in particular on processes concerning particulate suspended matter and carbon export. Additional interests concern the role of atmospheric inputs in the biogeochemical cycles and educational scientific activity.
She participated in many scientific cruises (Adriatic sea, Ionian, Eastern Mediterranean).
