Maggiore Francesca
Laurea cum laude in Biology (1980), fellowship (1987-88) at the “Laboratoire d’Ecologie du Benthos” University of Marseille – Luminy (France). Research scientist at the National Research Council since 1989. She has carried out researches mainly related to the taxonomical diversity of the benthic invertebrates in coastal marine and estuarine environments. In the last years the activity has been focused on benthic community analysis in the Lagoon of Venice through the existing data processing and researches on the field, colonization patterns on artificial substrates in Northern Adriatic sea, and autoecology studies.
