Schroeder Katrin
Laurea cum laude in Environmental Sciences (2003), PhD in Environmental Sciences (2008) at the University of Venice, in collaboration with ENEA-CRAM and CNR-ISMAR La Spezia, where she has been working as post-doc fellow since 2006. In 2008 she has been visiting scientist at the National Oceanography Centre of Southampton (NOC). Since 2011 she is Researcher at CNR-ISMAR in Venice. Her major research topics are experimental studies in physical oceanography, mainly in the Mediterranean Sea. She has actively participated to more than ten oceanographic campaigns on vessels owned by the CNR, the Hydrographic Institute of the Italian Navy and the NATO Undersea Research Centre (NURC) in wide parts of the western and eastern Mediterranean Sea. She is involved in a series of national and international research projects and has authored or coauthored 13 scientific papers ISI, 2 monographs articles, 1 book chapter and more than 60 congress presentations, some of them on invitation.
