Turchetto Margherita
Degree in Natural Sciences (1990) and in Biological Sciences (1993); research activity at ISMAR (CNR) Venice, since 1994. Her interests are focused on biological oceanography, biogeochemical cycles, particularly of carbon, in estuarine and marine environments, particulate matter characterisation, transport and sedimentation, downward particle fluxes measured by sediment traps. She participated in several scientific cruises in the Adriatic, Ionian, Sicily channel and western Mediterranean Seas, in the frame of national and international research projects.
