Vetrano Anna
MSc degree, summa cum laude, in Physical Oceanography (1991). Researcher since 1994 in several national and international oceanographic research institutes. Scientist at ISMAR La Spezia since 1998, holding a permanent research position from April 2007. Through her research activities on physical oceanography themes, she matured a solid expertise in field activities and in acquisition, processing and analysis of data from a wide variety of platforms. She has performed investigations on large scale circulation processes in the Mediterranean sea, on water mass and property exchange through strait and channels, on basin scale dynamics and on biophysical interactions in coastal areas. Participated to 15 Scientific Cruises (1988-2003) in the Mediterranean Sea.
