MD in Natural Sciences (1995). Contract researcher at the National Research Council since 2000, from 2009 research scientist at the Institute of Marine Sciences in Bologna. His research activity is focused on the determination of processes’ fluxes and rates in marine and lacustrine environments through the analysis of radiotracers, mainly to assess the relative importance of the sources and the mechanisms of contaminant distribution and accumulation. Recently he took an interest in the study of seismo-turbidites and tsunami deposits in sedimentary sequences.
