My research interests are focused on active tectonics, geo-hazards, morpho-structures, geodynamics of arc systems. Others my work interests were been Gas Hydrates analysis, reservoir characterization, Geological Storage of CO2 (CCS technics), accretionary prism evolution. Expert in geophysical. Project involvement: BRS with KOPRI supported by Foreign Ministry; BSR, SLAPPSS, IGEOS supported by PNRA; Serena, Amedea, Sannazzaro, MAQUAI supported by Eni s.p.a. and ENEL s.p.a.; ISTEGE and ISTEGE2 supported by OGS; GEO-CAL14 supported by CNR; collaboration with ISPRA in the frame of EMODnet 2 and Emodnet 3 – Geology lot supported by EU. 2 PhD co-tutor; 1 PhD thesis in collaboration with the Royal Holloway, Univ. of London; 1 Int. Fellowship supervisor the TRIL Programme; 2 Master Training; 5 Curricular Internship. 35 publications on ISI journals; 28 techno/scientific reports.
I took part to 13 marine geophysical/geological surveys (total days on board 171) to investigate the Tyrrhenian and Ionian seas, the offshore southern Chile and the Antarctic Peninsula. During them, I took care of multibeam data and low / high resolution seismic data acquisition and processing, applying conventional and non-conventional procedures. I served as PI in three of those cruises
