Research scientist at the National Research Council since 1986, now senior scientist at the Institute of Marine Sciences in Venice. Delegate-in-charge of the Venice Institute. Head of the Committe TA.P03.009 (Quality of the transitional environments). Main research topis are hydrodynamics of shallow water systems, pollution processes (heavy metals), urban pollution, and eco-hydrology.
