Owing to the often extremely applicative characteristics of some of the several ISMAR activities, it is possible to implement technological transfer through a technical-operating net, at disposal of public or private agencies and industries. During the last years, a growing enterprises engagement to invest on research and innovation has been registered, to appropriately answer the urgent demand of assuring sustainable competitiveness by means of appropriate industrial research strategies, articulated in objectives in tune with global market dynamics.

In this context, ISMAR intend to strengthen the competitiveness of productive systems linked to the sea, stimulating research activities, experimental development and technological transfer  to  the reference productive network. An important share of Institute activities regards, indeed, the realization of services, technical-scientific consulting for Institutions, managing agencies and private industrial field.
