First time within the Perth Canyon

Marco Taviani and Paolo Montagna (CNR-Ismar) were part of the team on the Schmidt Ocean Institute Falkor O/V. The Oceanografic mission in the depth of the Perth Canyon was coordinated by researches of University of Western Australia (PI Malcolm McCulloch) in cooperation with CNR-ISMAR, Western Australian Museum and Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research
