The Mediterranean Science Commission in Venice

Held every three years, this event has become the most important marine research Forum in the Mediterranean / Black Sea region: over 1,000 scientists and marine policy leaders from all shores of the Basin and beyond – some 40 countries - will be in attendance and join the many sessions.

This Alliance of marine researchers from cultures and nations often in conflict - yet successfully united since 1919 for the cause of peace and knowledge - is a unique trademark of the Commission.
