Paleoceanographic reconstructions in marine environment (Mediterranean, Atlantic, Antarctica). Micropaleontology of fresh water protozoans (testate amoebae) and continental (lacustrine) paleoenvironment reconstruction. Use of the micropaleontological results in multidisciplinary approach including sedimentology, seismic stratigraphy, tephrachronology, geochemistry.
