Study of the ocean general circulation in relationship to transport problems, dispersion processes and climatic implications. Main focus is on the study of transport processes using Lagrangian techniques, development of asssimilation techniques for ocean model prediction, modelling of coastal processes, mesoscale and submesoscale dynamics.
