progetto ByCatch: Una nuova griglia per la riduzione delle catture accidentali nella pesca pelagica
Il progetto BYCATCH, a cui il CNR-ISMAR di Ancona collabora da diversi anni, prevede tra le varie attività anche la sperimentazione di dispositivi BRD (Bycatch Excluder Device) per evitare catture accidentali di specie non target (tartarughe, delfini, razze, etc). La sperimentazione in corso è svolta con una particolare griglia (FLEXGRID) con prove in mare su pescherecci a volante.
