Summary:
The project foresees the organization of two information days for local authorities by the Province of Jaen (in cooperation with the Municipality of Alcalà la Real ) and the Province of Tarragona. ISMAR, external partner of the program, will contribute with the preparation of a methodology for the involvement of local authorities in fighting against invasive alien species and the publication of a project leaflet. Part of the Arco Latino’s contribution is for the preparation of a joint project proposal focused on IAS to be submitted to an European programme for funding.
It ' was decided to submit a proposal on LIFE + "Nature and Biodiversity " sub- program "Environmental Governance and Information " .
